Who We Are
Who We Are
We're a growing partnership
TQKP (Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership) is an initiative of ARACY, working to improve the health and wellbeing of every young Queenslander.
As part of ARACY’s national health promotion efforts, we focus on preventing disease, strengthening early intervention, and driving systemic change.
Our Role in Health Promotion
We work with government, research, and community partners to:
- Promote healthy child development, prevent developmental delays, prevent and control physical and mental health problems and chronic conditions.
- Embed evidence-based policies that reduce health risks.
- Strengthen cross-sector collaboration to raise awareness about disease prevention and create systems and conditions that promote long-term health.
A Growing Partnership
Better outcomes for children require stronger systems and partnerships. TQKP connects people, knowledge, and resources to make prevention a priority. By working together, we create long-term change that ensures every young Queenslander has the opportunity to thrive.
Partner with Us
If your organisation is committed to improving child health and wellbeing, let’s work together to create a healthier, fairer future for Queensland’s children.
“We start from the idea that we do better together – that we can take programs and people that are making in-roads, and connect them, learn from them, boost them. We are not about creating a new organisation or service; it is about using what and who we already have, and what we know and learn.”
Michael Hogan – Convenor, Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership
