A new free online program for everyone working with young children!
Brains arenโt just born, theyโre built. And the more we learn about early brain development, the more we can contribute to laying sturdy foundations for every childโs health and development.
Developed with busy educators and professionals in mind, the program provides insights into how early relationships, environments and interactions shape brain development. It includes opportunities to explore neuroplasticity, the impacts of stress and trauma on brain development, and the vital role of โserve and returnโ interactions.
โWhere we start matters. When ourย workforces, caregivers and communities are informed by neuroscience we can build healthier brains and bodies and improve health, learning,ย wellbeingย and resilience for everybody. We are thrilled to collaborate with Early Childhood Australia to develop this version of the Understanding Brain Development program. This important work builds on the collaboration with Emerging Minds, Queensland Brain Institute at the University of Queensland, Palix Foundation, ARACY and our philanthropic funders.โ – Michael Hogan, Executive Convenor, Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership
“ARACY has long championed the connection between evidence and practice to improve child wellbeing. We encourage everyone working in the early years to explore the Understanding Brain Developmentย programโan excellent learning opportunity that supports professionals to help every child thrive.” – Prue Warrilow, ARACY CEO
Together, we can all be Brain Builders!ย
