TQKP’s Thriving Kids in Disasters (TKiD) project has just released a new publication, theย  TKiD Action and Investment Plan. Co-designed with input from children, caregivers, partners, and collaborators across Queensland and Australia, the plan represents a move from knowing about what kids need in disasters to doing what it takes to keep all Queensland kids thrivingโ€”presenting clear, evidence-based ways forward towards improved disaster responses, both now and in the future.

The TKiD Action and Investment Plan offers strategies for funders, decision-makers, communities and organisations to enact impactful solutions and identify opportunities for resilience building that prioritise the social, physical, mental and cultural wellbeing of kids, families and communities within the broader context of disaster risk reduction.
