Learning from each other, sharing what’s working and building stronger connections across sectors and communities, is a big part of our work creating a Queensland that supports children to thrive.
That’s why we’re excited to be part of the Early Years Conference in Cairns on 21-22 May.
– Roger Meany is presenting on ‘Queensland Kids Partnership’s Building Brains and Bodies portfolio’
– Michelle Cole is presenting in partnership with NAPCAN’s Sarnia Ralston on ‘Prevention in Action – Collaborating with children, families and communities to shift conversations into action’
– Anita Egginton is presenting in partnership with Sharleen Keleher from ECEC Infant Mental Health Statewide Coordinator, Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health on ‘Building resilience together: early years disaster forums as a model for cross-sector collaboration’
– Also keep eye out for our northern Queensland-based Alisha Chand, as well as QKP-ers who are presenting in their roles with other organisations including Kym Dunstan with Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service, and Nathan Gallagher with Act for Kids.
– We’re also pleased to be supporting the keynote presentation by Anne Hollonds AO, CEO of Early Learning and Care Council of Australia.
If you’re at the Early Years Conference (21-22 May, Cairns) please come and say hi at the Queensland Kids Partnership booth!
