On 14 February 2025 ARACY launched their Young & Wise report – powerful new resource aiming to centre children and young people in decision making!

The Young and Wise report calls on decision-makers to prioritise children and young people in policies affecting everything from education to mental health, climate action, and social connection. It demonstrates the need for sustained and dedicated leadership to elevate these issues to the national stage.

The report reveals the insights of over 10,000 children and young people, gathered over five years and 117 reports, sharing what they need to thrive in Australia. You’ll receive a behind-the-scenes look at the key issues impacting children and young people as told by them.

The webinar included a dynamic panel discussion considering the what, why and how of consulting with children and young people featuring:
  •  Anne Hollonds, National Children’s Commissioner
  •  Prue Warrilow, CEO of ARACY
  •  Hannah Vardy, Duty of Care Campaigner
  •  Dr Kristy Noble, ARACY Author
